Ñora is a variety of pepper very typical in the regions of Murcia and Alicante; in fact it is the raw material of Murcian paprika and used traditionally in Valencian Paella, particularly in those using fish.
It can be added directly to rice, although it is also possible to soak it beforehand and scratch its inner part with a knife, obtaining the "flesh” of the ñora.
