This medicinal herb, also known as badian, is from the same botanical family as green aniseed or common aniseed. It has carminative properties (i.e. it helps to relieve wind). Being stronger than common green aniseed, we recommend it for adults who suffer from trapped intestinal gas.
It also has some culinary uses in baking or liqueur making.
