The purpose of these General Conditions is to regulate the conditions of use of our website, which is owned Antonio Catalán Gómez with NIF 45636117T (hereinafter the "COMPANY") and registered office in Mercado Central de Valencia, bajos 457 al 459, located in the postal code 46001 Valencia(Spain).

Through its website, www.especiasvalencia.com and www.buyspices.net, information about its products is provided and the possibility of their acquisition is offered. Due to the content and purpose of the Website, people who want to benefit from its services must have the status of "CUSTOMER", which acquires by completing the registration form and following the steps indicated by the COMPANY. As a Customer, you agree the Terms of Use published at the time you access the Website.

In any case, there are pages of the Website accessible to natural or legal persons who do not register or initiate a product purchase (hereinafter, "Users"). In this sense, Users accessing these parts of the Website agree the terms and conditions set out in these General Conditions, to the extent that this may be applicable to them.


The conditions of access to the website are subject to the legal provisions in force at all times and to the principles of good faith and lawful use by the User, expressly and strictly prohibiting any type of action that could be detrimental to our online store or third parties.

The website does not require prior subscription for simple navigation, access or use of the service in question. On the contrary, for access to certain contents and services, prior subscription and corresponding registration as a registered customer (hereinafter referred to as the CUSTOMER) will be required.


The Customer undertakes to select, use and retain his user name or login and password.


All prices of the products indicated through the website include VAT and any other taxes that may apply. However, these prices do not include the expenses corresponding to the shipment of the products, which are detailed in this website in the section on Shipping and Returns. By default, the price for each unit of article for packaged products or for each hundred grams of product is shown in this website, being able to select another weight from the corresponding drop-down menu different from the ones established by default, showing in this drop-down menu the price increase when selecting a higher weight.


The COMPANY will do its best to please all its CUSTOMERS in the demand for the products. However, sometimes, due to causes that are difficult for our company to control, such as human errors or incidents in computer systems, we may not have sufficient stocks to meet orders.

In the case that the product is not available after the order has been placed, the CUSTOMER will be informed by email of the total or partial cancellation of the order. Partial cancellation of the order due to unavailability does not entitle the customer to cancel the entire order.


Once the order is formalized, that is, with the acceptance of the Conditions of Use and the confirmation of the purchase process, the COMPANY will always send an email to the CUSTOMER confirming the details of the purchase.


The COMPANY will accept cancellations of orders when they are requested prior to shipment.


The CUSTOMER agrees to pay at the time of ordering. To the initial price that appears on the website for each of the products offered will be added the rates corresponding to the relevant shipping costs. These rates will be communicated to the CUSTOMER before formalizing the purchase, and in any case are visible in the shipping costs section. The CUSTOMER must pay the amount corresponding to his order by payment in one of the ways defined.


The COMPANY undertakes to deliver the product in perfect condition to the address indicated by the CUSTOMER on the order form, which in any case must be within the Spanish mainland or the Balearic Islands.Orders to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and abroad are not currently accepted. In order to optimize delivery, we suggest that CUSTOMERS indicate an address where the order can be delivered within normal business hours. The COMPANY. will not be responsible for any errors caused in the delivery, when the delivery address entered by the CUSTOMER in the order form does not match with reality or have been omitted. The usual delivery time is usually between 2 and 4 working days, from the completion of the order.

These deadlines are average, and therefore an estimate. They may therefore vary for logistical or force majeure reasons. In cases of delays in deliveries the COMPANY will inform its customers as soon as it becomes aware of them.

Each delivery is considered to have been made from the moment in which the transport company makes the product available to the CUSTOMER, which is materialized through the control system used by the transport company.

If at the time of delivery the CUSTOMER is absent, the carrier will leave a receipt indicating how to proceed to arrange a new delivery with any additional charge. If he is still absent again, an additional delivery charge will be applied. If the reason for the non-delivery is due to the loss of the package, our carrier will initiate an investigation. In these cases, our carriers' response times are usually between one and three weeks.


The CUSTOMER must check the good condition of the package with the carrier who delivers the product ordered, indicating on the delivery note any anomaly that may be detected on the packaging. If, subsequently, after reviewing the product, the CUSTOMER detects any incident such as a breakage, signs of having been opened or any damage caused to it by the shipment, it undertakes to notify the carrier within less than 24 hours, as well as keep the COMPANY informed of this circumstance.


The user will have a period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the product to return it in accordance with current legislation. Unless the return is made due to defects in the product, shipping costs will be paid by the customer. In any case, the product must be returned in its original packaging and with its original seals.

The right of withdrawal may not apply to personalised products or products which, for reasons of hygiene or other legal exceptions, are not covered by this right. Returns will not be accepted unless they have been previously communicated to our company by telephone or e-mail.
